Why the network matters
The same digital dollar circulates on several blockchains: Tron (TRC20), Ethereum (ERC20), Solana and others. They are separate roads that do not talk to each other. A Solana address only receives tokens sent over Solana.
At INVERSHA everything goes over Solana. If you send USDT over TRC20 or ERC20 to your address, it does not reach your portfolio, and recovering it can be hard or impossible.
Step by step from your exchange
- In INVERSHA, open your portfolio and go to Add. You will see your Solana address and a QR code. Copy it in full.
- On your exchange, go to withdraw and choose your portfolio’s currency: USDC if your portfolio is USDC, USDT if it is USDT.
- Under “network”, choose Solana (sometimes shown as “SOL” or “Solana (SPL)”). If your exchange does not offer Solana for that currency, do not send: there is no safe way to do it over another network.
- Paste the address and check the first and last characters against the ones in the app.
- The first time, send a small test amount. Once it arrives, send the rest.
- Back in INVERSHA, tap “Verify deposit”. On Solana, transfers usually confirm in seconds; what takes longest is your exchange’s withdrawal process.
How to verify it is the right token
Anyone can create a token called “USDC”. What truly identifies it is its token address (the “mint”). The official ones on Solana are:
- USDC (Circle):
EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v - USDT (Tether):
Es9vMFrzaCERmJfrF4H2FYD4KCoNkY11McCe8BenwNYB
If you receive a transfer from someone you do not know with a lookalike token, do not touch it: it is a common scam.
Fees
- The Solana network charges fractions of a cent per transaction.
- Your exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee; check it before sending.
- You don’t need to buy SOL. To move your money inside INVERSHA, we front the network fee and, if needed, a pinch of your balance is converted.
Common mistakes
- Choosing TRC20 or ERC20 because it is the network the exchange suggests by default.
- Sending the other currency: USDT to a USDC portfolio, or the other way around.
- Copying an incomplete address or pasting an old one from the clipboard.
- Sending everything at once the first time, without a test.
To withdraw, the same in reverse
From INVERSHA you can send your balance to any Solana address, with no lock-up periods. If you send it to your exchange, use the Solana deposit address your exchange gives you for that currency. What to do next with your balance? See how to invest your USDT orhow to earn interest on USDC.
