Speed and cost
A Solana transfer usually confirms in a few seconds and its fee is usually a fraction of a cent. For moving small amounts or making many transactions, that makes a huge difference compared to networks with higher fees.
The same stablecoin, different networks
USDT and USDC exist on Tron, Ethereum, Solana and other networks. They are separate tokens on each one: a USDT sent over the wrong network does not arrive. Before sending, confirm that origin and destination use the same network.
How to send without mistakes
- On your exchange, choose Solana as the withdrawal network.
- Copy the full destination address and check it.
- The first time, send a small test amount.
- Wait for it to confirm before sending the rest.

What Solana does not solve
A fast network does not remove risk: the network can have outages, and the stablecoin depends on its issuer. Moving digital dollars is not the same as having a deposit at a bank.
